Chattaneshwar Mahadev Mandir

A spiritual journey is more pleasurable and has peace of mind.

For many days I was thinking to go to Chattaneshwar Mahadev mandir which is one of the top mandirs nearby to Kota and I have visited long back with my family.

Today by the grace of Mahadev I got the chance to visit and get the blessings of Chattaneshwar Mahadev.

The last two years due to the pandemic travelling was restricted, which also affected my blogging on this site.

Despite that, I tried to visit few places nearby and got some content to share here.

During the Sawan Mash, the month of Lord Shiva, every Hindu visits Lord Shiva's temple to get the blessings.

For our foreign friends let me elaborate on the meaning of Chattaneshwar Mahadev Mandir.

Chattaneshwar means the god in the rock. As we Hindus believe that in every particle of the universe consist of Eshwar(God).

Mahadev is one of the most popular names out of 108 names of Lord Shiva. This means that Lord Shiva is the God of all Gods (Devo ke Dev).

Mandir means a temple or a place for offering prayers.

Where is Chattaneswar Mahadev Mandir?

Chattaneswar Mahadev Mandir is situated at Kewal Nagar village of Ladpura Tehsil of Kota District.

It's nearby the Alniya railway station of Western Indian Railway and behind oriental power cable ltd. factory.

How to go to Chattaneshwar Mahadev Mandir

It's situated nearby to Kewal Nagar connected to National highway no.52 also with National highway 27 hence it's connected by road from all over India.

Although Alniya Railway station is nearby a few trains halt at this station and you may not get any vehicle to go to Chattaneshwer Mahadev Mandir hence I suggest dropping at Kota Railway station.

Chattaneshwar Mahadev mandir is just around 27 Km from Kota railway station from where you can easily get taxies.
